Guilty Indulgence

Shopping with friends is so nice

You might forget budget and price

And buy things you don't need

Just by habit, not by greed

Went shopping with my gal pals at Far East Plaza today. My achievement consists of 4 blouses, 1 skirt, 1 pants, 1 revlon eyeshadow, a pair of earrings & a sushi mat. Total damage = 200 bucks. I am not really a shopping fanatic, and having a boyfriend who doesn't like shopping hasnt been very helpful either. I do feel guilty when spending too much on shopping or any other indulgences, especially so when my financial planner who does half-yearly assessment of my finances question me on the slow growth of my savings.

But shopping is more pleasant with a friend

Who has a thousand dollars to lend.
